Optics – straightforward solutions for complex tasks

Flexible and modular. Laserline’s process optics are the basis of most laser material applications, proven again and again by our customers. Easy to swap at the end of the optical fiber, our optics can shape the beam into almost any geometrical form.

A broad spectrum of use

The classical imaging of the end of the fiber yields a round focus, used for microprocessing applications such as microwelding and soldering, as well as in macroprocessing applications such as thick metal or aluminum welding, body-in-white-brazing and certainly pumping of fiber and disc lasers.

Special adjustment possible

Surface processes such as cladding and heat treatment of large surfaces benefit greatly from our homogenizing optics with line or rectangular foci: e. g. selective hardening achieves the best process efficiency when used with temperature control in combination with Laserline’s rectangular or square optics. High deposition rate cladding is possible with our line optics and a wide stream powder nozzle. Reaching such a superb performance is possible with microoptics, rearranging the beam to achieve an almost perfectly homogeneous intensity distribution.

Diverse solutions

The entire range of Laserline process optics also includes customized ring optics for simultaneous plastic welding or twin spot optics for metal welding or brazing, as well as scanning systems for up to 6,000 W and field sizes up to 400 mm x 400 mm. All our fixed beam optics can be water cooled, and will work up to 15,000 W of laser power. They are available in either the standard 2" format or our compact 1" variant.
