History
As a leading manufacturer of diode lasers for material processing, the name Laserline has become synonymous with this type of technology.
At the company’s headquarters in Mülheim-Kärlich near Frankfurt, Laserline develops and produces highly modular diode lasers. These are deployed world wide in a wide range of industrial applications.
The Company Laserline
The company, Laserline, started life in 1997 as one of the pioneers in the world of diode lasers and its development has been extremely successful and dynamic.
The first diode laser with an output power of 6,000 W was ready for the market by 1999, as was the first fiber-coupled diode laser.
Since 1999 the beam quality or maximum output with the same diameter fiber has doubled almost every two years, expanding Moore’s law in laser industry. Development aims to increase the output power of the diode laser and to improve the reliability of the systems for industrial production.
These product developments raised the profile of Laserline on a global scale, enabling it to establish and continually extend its position as a technology leader in the market.
Creative Ideas for Material Processing
Laserline’s success can be attributed to the competence of its personnel. Specialists and multifaceted experts from different fields work together on the development of the products – forming the basis for success.
The credo at Laserline focuses on the creative and disciplined transformation of new ideas into industrial innovations.
This assures manufacturing of the highest quality standards and enables us to develop customized system solutions which work economically and reliably, even under the toughest production conditions.
