  • 1997

    The first direct diode lasers in the design of a camera of the fifties, with outputs of 500 W, 900 W and 2000 W are developed and sold.

  • 1999

    Laserline prevails against competitors and received the first order for 100 diode laser systems as the world's first multi-laser system.

  • 2001

    A fiber-coupled diode laser is now up to 4000 W with a 1.500 micron fiber or up to 2000 W with a 1.000 micron fiber (NA 0.2) available. In the same year Laserline achieves to combine the good beam quality of diode lasers in the power range of up to 500 W with a scanning system. The first DioScan systems for quasi-simultaneous welding of plastics are available.

  • 2003

    The Laser devices can be fitted to increase the system availability with a stack management. These electronics detect a defective laser stack, switch it off and automatically calculate the new parameters of the laser. The Tele-service allows to diagnose any errors in laser systems on a worldwide basis and support online customer on the phone. Fiber-coupled diode lasers are developed from Laserline with better beam quality: - 850 W in 400 micron fiber, NA 0.2. - 4.000 W in 1.000 micron fiber, 0.2 NA

  • 2004

    Year after year, a better performance: fiber coupled diode laser with 6.000 W in 1.500 micron fiber, 0.2 NA

  • 2005

    Fiber-coupled and direct diode laser with improved beam quality:

    1.400 W in 400 micron fiber, NA 0.2

    3,000 W in 600 micron fiber, NA 0.2

    6,000 W in 1.000 micron fiber, NA 0.2

  • 2007

    At the LASER 2007 in Munich Laserline presents a fiber-coupled diode laser with a laser power of 4.000 W from a 400 micron fiber. A similar beam quality and efficiency so far was only achieved by a lamp-pumped Nd: YAG laser.

  • 2009

    The world's first diode laser with a beam quality of a lamp-pumped Nd-YAG laser of 30 mm mrad and a laser power of 4.000 W is introduced into the market.

  • 2011

    Since the LASER World of Photonics 2011 fiber-coupled diode lasers are available with 15.000 W of output power in a 1.000 micron fiber.

  • 2013

    Laserline presents a diode laser with beam converter with an output power of 4 kW at 8 mm mrad at exhibition LASER World of Photonics in Munich 2013. Furthermore, diode lasers are available in the multi kilowatts range up to 20,000 watts.

  • 2014

    Laserline doubles the output power of diode lasers to 40,000 watts within one year and presents this prototype at exhibition LASYS in Stuttgart. Besides new stainless steel optics OTS-5 are presented.
